Sollutions to use associated gas for power generators on interconnecting offshore structures in Bach Ho and Rong fields
Abstract
The gathering and effective use of associated gas in oil production is always a mandatory requirement for oil field operators. This paper presents the results of studying the solutions to use associated gas in Bach Ho and Rong fields for development of power distribution system by subsea cables from the central power generation station to offshore structures. This system helps Vietsovpetro to minimise operating costs, improve economic efficiency, and contribute to environmental protection by effectively using associated gas available at the field instead of diesel fuel.
